Who introduced you to JDK?
Ourselves after we heard someone talking about JDK at another dance school.
What has dancing done for you?
Its taken me off my backside watching TV; before we were sitting at home doing nothing. Ive made more friends, I drink less and Ive lost weight. Tim makes it fun and interesting. He makes it idiot-proof really!
What do you do for a living?
I'm an electronics technician. I'm a contractor for Telstra and a few of the other communication and security companies.
Hobbies (when youre not dancing)?
Scuba diving, when its not freezing cold, and I like doing a bit of cooking.
What has been your funniest moment at JDK?
When Roan was here she kicked Tim up the backside. He spun around and she ducked. She made him look the fool not the other way around!
What is your favourite Tim one-liner?
I havent got a favourite because they're all good!
Do you have a nickname?
Everyone calls me Phill. The only time Im called Phillip is when Im in trouble.
What's your favourite move?
The Stomp
What's your favourite song to dance to?
Roy Orbisons Only the Lonely. I also love the Jive Bunny Rock and Roll CD.
What's your favourite venue?
The Lake Monger Rec Club followed by the Macedonian Club
Do you do Thursday ballroom class?
Yes, weve just started it.
What's your favourite ballroom dance?
The Square Rhumba!
What's your favourite ballroom song to dance to?
Dean Martins The Memories We Keep.
What's your favourite night of the week?
I'd have to say Sunday.
What's your favourite JDK event (NOT dancing)?
I believe were going to go on the next scooter ride, thatll be our first event.
What animal best describes the way you dance?
A dog. Like a puppy because sometimes I stumble out of place
What was your most embarrassing moment ON the dance floor?
Three weeks ago I slipped on some water and fell flat on my backside.
...and OFF the dance floor?
When I was about 18 there was this girl I knew who was always doing embarrassing stuff to me. One day I crept up behind her in the supermarket and pulled her boob tube down to the waist. When she turned around I realised she wasnt the girl I knew. I thought, oh hell! I legged it and ran!
In three words or less, describe your dancing style?
Enthusiastic and energetic!
What move did you struggled with the most to learn?
Leading. Being a good leader is the hardest thing Im finding
What's the most nights you have attended in one week?
Four; and were planning on going five nights
In three words or less, describe your dancing ability?
Not too bad!
What's something about you that no one at dancing knows?
I like getting on the Internet and finding the funniest and silliest videos, like from Australias Got Talent. I like to have a good laugh!
Scrunch or fold?
I'd have to be a folder!
Who would you turn gay for?
I wouldn't! But Id turn into a woman for Drew Barrymore if she asked me to be one!

Who introduced you to JDK?
Frank, my husband, and I found out about it online.
What has dancing done for you?
I've met some great people! I met Frank at social dancing 16 years ago in Bunbury. It was New Years Eve!
What do you do for a living?
I'm a bookeeper ...a self-employed one!
Hobbies (when youre not dancing)?
Reading; history and thrillers ...and cooking
What has been your funniest moment at JDK?
The Pimps and Pros night ...the whole night!
What is your favourite Tim one-liner?
Ssssshhhhh!
Do you have a nickname?
I used to be called Piggy because my maiden name was Piggot; and Mucker Michelle.
What's your favourite move?
I dont have a favourite.
What's your favourite song to dance to?
Boom Boom Goes My Heart by the group Alex Swings Oscar Sings!
What's your favourite venue?
The Macedonian Cultural Centre in Balcatta.
Do you do Thursday ballroom class?
Yes, soooo love it!
What's your favourite ballroom dance?
The Waltz, definitely.
What's your favourite ballroom song to dance to?
You've got me right where I want you by Alan Jackson.
What's your favourite night of the week?
Thursday, it's kinder on the body!
What's your favourite JDK event (NOT dancing)?
I haven't been to one of the events yet but I think Frank and I will go to some of them in the future.
What animal best describes the way you dance?
A slinky cat. But late in the evening definitely an elephant.
What was your most embarrassing moment ON the dance floor?
Many years ago, wearing a press-button skirt, I had it ripped open in a progressive dance.
...and OFF the dance floor?
I lost my bikini top in a hotel pool when I was 15. It was winter and I was in Perth with my school for Country Week. About 12 people reckoned I wouldnt go in the water but I dived in ...that was me showing off.
In three words or less, describe your dancing style?
Frank says, smooth, sexy and alluring. They're not my words!
What move did you struggled with the most to learn?
No particular move.
What's the most nights you have attended in one week?
Two.
In three words or less, describe your dancing ability?
Capable, that'll do.
What's something about you that no one at dancing knows?
I know some sign language.

Scrunch!
Who would you turn gay for?
I dont know. But if you wanted to know who I'd have an affair for, it would've been Richard Gere ...until I met Frank!

Who introduced you to JDK?
Mac Johnson
What has dancing done for you?
Its become a passion of mine; Ive also lost weight and gained fitness.
What do you do for a living?
I own my own business, Windsor Transport in Kwinana. Ive been a trucker for 40 years; before that I was a cop.
Hobbies (when youre not dancing)?
I dont have much time left. Business administration and fleet maintenance, unfortunately.
What has been your funniest moment at JDK?
I always have lots of fun; I couldnt pinpoint one single moment
What is your favourite Tim one-liner?
I said link the thumbs, not lick them.
Do you have a nickname?
Sam
What's your favourite move?
I love them all, particularly the Long Jive Walk
What's your favourite song to dance to?
I Like it Like That by Guy Sebastian and Johnny B. Goode

Lake Monger Rec Club.

Waltz, and then Samba

Thursday Ballroom; its a bit different and breathes new life into JDK

Sunday dinners at Blackbird Restaurant

Im like the oldest gazelle
What was your most embarrassing moment ON the dance floor?
When I split my trousers open. Tim stopped the music and said into the microphone Geoff, youve split your trousers. Everyone started laughing and the worst part was I had blue underwear on under my black trousers. And yes, I got my moneys worth out of the trousers!
...and OFF the dance floor?
When I was a copper I locked myself in the back of my paddy wagon with a half-dead dog Id just picked up after it was hit by a car. I was banging on the windows for someone to let me out but no-one would help; everyone was just laughing at me!

Not sure
What move did you struggled with the most to learn?
The Mac Roll It changes with every person and it falls apart so easily
What's the most nights you have attended in one week?
Four.
In three words or less, describe your dancing ability?
Reasonable
What's something about you that no one at dancing knows?
My childhood nickname was Sam. Ive no idea why; my brother came up with it and it stuck; everyone used to call me Sam. Only recently have people started calling me Geoff.

18 months
Who introduced you to JDK?
John Little invited me well actually he invited a friend of mine, I just tagged along.
What has dancing done for you?
It's brought a different kind of fun into my life and coordination.
What do you do for a living?
I'm a teacher and I'm the tallest in my whole class... Yes! I teach kindergarten.
Hobbies (when youre not dancing)?
Now that I dance about four times a week, it's taken over my life. No time for hobbies!
What has been your funniest moment at JDK?
It's all pretty funny to me!
What is your favourite Tim one-liner?
Too high... I said "ripples" (when doing round the waist).
Do you have a nickname?
Shirlz / Espresso / Short Black / Chico Baby.
What's your favourite move?
Advanced Butterfly.
What's your favourite song to dance to?
"Sweet Sweet Smile" by The Carpenters and "Rock Me Gently" by Andy Kim.

Lake Monger Rec Club.
Do you do Thursday ballroom class?
Yes, soooo love it!

Cha Cha.
What's your favourite ballroom song to dance to?
"Nocturne" (Waltz) Secret Garden & "Mercy" (Cha Cha) by Duffy.
What's your favourite night of the week?
Sunday. It's a nice finish to the weekend and a nice start to the week.
What's your favourite JDK event (NOT dancing)?
I went to the last BBQ at Lake Monger on Sunday & I had a ball ...it was fantastic!
What animal best describes the way you dance?
In my mind a dove, because it is a graceful bird ...in reality a baby elephant.
What was your most embarrassing moment ON the dance floor?
A guy fell over. I couldn't stop laughing, after I helped him up, I was walking away (still laughing), and I fell over! I think that is what you call Karma.
...and OFF the dance floor?
There have been so many that Ive lost count.
In three words or less, describe your dancing style?
Interpretative, fun and bossy! Okay I like to lead, ask the guys.
What move did you struggled with the most to learn?
The Hesitation! I hate that bloody move. Why Tim, why?

Four.

I've finally got it! Yes I know that's four words.

I have five fillings.

I change from time to time just to add variety... I dont want to be too predictable.

Where would I start? I won't name names because I might offend people! Seriously, I'm not turning gay, I soooo lurve dem men folk!
